Basic Course

Completion of forty lessons (40 hours) in four parts takes the student from Common European Framework Level A2+ to B1+.

Functions to be learned include:

- stating simple opinions or information about a familiar topic
- asking simple questions and short exchanges in basic social situations
- responding to simple and routine tasks in a basic and direct exchange
- describing basic features of a person or a photograph
- presenting a linear sequence of points or facts
- understanding and giving advice within a known area
- describing experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions
- giving reasons and explanations for opinions and plans
