Listen while Reading then Repeat
In each part of the Preparation Step 1, when the student plays the audio file, they hear a speaker reading the line. This provides a model for the ‘perfect’ pronunciation. The student hears the speaker while reading silently the line and, after the speaker finishes, is provided with enough time to repeat the line by mimicking the speaker’s model.
