Woman: OK everyone. We’ve decided to take you to see the international ice hockey match, so listen carefully to the information.
Boy: Which game is it, Mrs Cork?
Woman: The Italian
national team are playing against Canada. It’s going to be really exciting to watch.
Boy: Brilliant! And where are they playing?
Woman: They play all the important ice hockey games in the stadium that’s next to the City Sports Centre.
Boy: I’ve never been there. Is that next Saturday?
Woman: No, it’s on the twenty-eighth of January.
Boy: And do we have to pay to go?
Woman: Yes, but
it’s not expensive for school groups. It costs just £12 each. Normal tickets cost £22 so we’re very lucky. Please tell your parents to send the money to school as soon as possible.
Boy: OK. Are
we going to go there in the school bus?
Woman: That’s right. Please arrive at school by a quarter past one. The bus will leave at one thirty.
